Hypertension
People over 18 years of age are diagnosed with hypertension if their blood pressure is 140/90 mmH and above on two consecutive days. People may have complaints such as pain in the neck, headache, dizziness, buzzing or ringing in the ears, frequent urination, nosebleeds, palpitations or nausea, or they may be diagnosed with hypertension without any complaints. The risk of hypertension is higher in people with a family history of hypertension, people who are overweight, people who smoke and drink alcohol, people who consume more salt than necessary, sedentary and overly stressed people. Hypertension is monitored and treated by an internal medicine specialist in our clinic.
