Common symptoms
Most people who visit the practice come with one of these five concerns. What is assessed for each is set out below; the detail is on the linked page.
-
Fatigue and low energy
Persistent fatigue is not attributed to a single cause. The examination assesses thyroid function, the blood count, iron and ferritin status, vitamin B12 and D levels, the course of blood sugar and the sleep pattern together. A result reported as "normal" does not mean the picture has been explained.

Weight and metabolism
Weight is not a diagnosis in itself. The assessment considers insulin resistance, thyroid function, the lipid profile and the eating routine together. The aim is not a number but a measurable, sustainable routine.

Pain and the musculoskeletal system
In chronic pain the cause is investigated first. Where red-flag findings are present no procedure is planned and the person is directed to the relevant specialty. The decision on suitability is made at the end of the examination.

Skin and appearance
Some changes in the skin are related to metabolic topics. For this reason skin complaints are assessed not only externally but also from the internal medicine side. Which topic comes to the fore is determined at the examination.
